TAIGA (fragment of poetry) Taiga, puffy, wet moss and bushes having knelt in the swamp.I don’t know for what sin’s penalty is that God ordered them here to grow. Don’t know what kind of burden guilt make these people crumpled full grays with over streak of newly built rails they don’t raise their earthy face. This poem was written by Beata Obertynska. The melody was composed by my father. Beata Obertynska was a Polish writer and poet. In 1940 she was arrested by the NKVD…

Birthday card. Today is my cousin’s birthday. Wszystkiego najlepszego Ewa!
This Thursday for Illustration Friday:
A beautiful, sunny day! I can almost feel spring coming.
Reading Grimm’s Fairy Tales.
A song from my childhood. This Friday is musical and somewhat nostalgic. My father composed this melody in 1974 but recorded it quite recently. The song is a poetic thought about the beauty of the night bathed in moonlight in the Tatras Mountains. The author wishes the moon to stay a little longer because he’s afraid (unnecessarily) that the coming dusk would reveal a less beautiful world.
Today is pink.
Long winter nights.
We have 2 cats living in the house and 8 living in the barn. Is it too much?
